Focus and scope
Entropía. Journal about horror in Spanish and Hispanic American arts, aims to be a space for academic debate and diffusion of specialized interdisciplinary works.
Its issue of interest is the conceptualization through a theoretical and critical process of horror, being this conceived as a threat on a physical, psychological or ontological level, these three elements are coexistent. Consequently, other manifestations in which the terrifying element loses this essential character will be rejected.
Entropía is published annually and is structured in three different sections: Dossier, Miscellaneous and Reviews.
In addition, Materia Oscura is annexed to the publication of Entropía, a space for the diffusion of contemporary artistic creation of terror. This will be divided according to the material received.
